After a year of silence, Xi meets Biden at Indo Pacific Leaders' Summit 

Chinese President Xi Jinping meets US President Joe Biden on Wednesday.

The meeting assumes significance as US and China are world's two biggest military powers.

This meeting on Wednesday is the first between the two leaders this year.

Biden claims that meeting with Xi brings substantial progress on diverse issues.

Both agreed to cooperate on anti-narcotics, resume military communications and expand people-to-people exchanges.

Xi said China will send more Pandas to US which are envoys of friendship between Chinese and American people.

Biden and Xi also took a walk at the Filoli estate.

While Biden called Xi as a dictator, Xi also told Biden on the need to "stop arming Taiwan" by the US.

Biden pointed out harassment of American travellers in china while Xi urged for non discriminatory environment for Chinese companies in USA.
