Gadkari disclosed that over the last decade, approximately 13,000 kilometers of new roads have been constructed across the country.

Highlighting the transformative impact of these developments, Gadkari emphasized the substantial improvement in connectivity and the resulting benefits to various segments of society. He particularly underscored the advantages accruing to farmers, who have experienced enhanced accessibility to markets and reduced transportation times for their produce.

“In the 10 years of the Modi government, about 13,000 km of new roads have been constructed, significantly augmenting the existing road network in the country,” Gadkari stated during the event.

The Union Minister further elaborated on the widespread benefits of improved infrastructure, citing examples such as reduced travel times from Jaunpur to Ayodhya, now achievable in just two hours, facilitating pilgrimages to the revered Ram Temple. Additionally, Gadkari noted the positive impact on trade, with products reaching diverse destinations more efficiently and safely.

As part of his visit to Jaunpur, Gadkari announced projects worth Rs 1,000 crore for the district, demonstrating the government’s commitment to furthering infrastructure development across regions.
