New Delhi, February 18: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Convention at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi saw the presentation of a second political resolution, titled “‘BJP’ Desh Ki Aasha, Vipaksh Ki Hatasha,” by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The resolution primarily focused on criticizing the opposition’s INDIA bloc.

Proposed by Amit Shah and seconded by Union Minister Arjun Munda, the seven-page resolution accused the Congress of being the root cause of instability, bitterness, and division within the country. It alleged Congress’s involvement in corruption and its opposition to progressive initiatives. The resolution also highlighted instances of attacks on Indian culture and insult to constitutional institutions.

The resolution specifically pointed out incidents of violence and suppression of dissent by the INDIA bloc, citing recent events in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, where BJP workers were targeted by the Trinamool Congress. It also mentioned instances of violence against BJP workers in Kerala by the CPI and CPM.

Referring to the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s governance in Bihar, the resolution condemned the alleged jungle rule and harassment faced by tribal women, farmers, and common citizens. It criticized divisive elements for inciting anarchy under the guise of movements and accused Congress and its allies of exacerbating such situations.

The resolution highlighted the opportunistic nature of the INDIA bloc, claiming it was formed solely to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi without any ideological foundation. It pointed out instances where parties within the bloc contested against each other in elections, undermining any semblance of unity or common purpose.

In conclusion, the resolution reiterated BJP’s commitment to fighting against negative politics and pledged to continue its struggle against the anarchic tendencies promoted by the opposition. It emphasized the need to uphold democratic principles and work towards the betterment of the nation.

The presentation of this resolution underscores the escalating political tensions between the ruling BJP and the opposition INDIA bloc, setting the stage for further ideological clashes in the upcoming political landscape.
