New Delhi, February 18: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wrapped up its national convention on Sunday by paying tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s instrumental role in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Against the backdrop of resounding chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” the party unanimously passed a resolution lauding this milestone achievement on the convention’s final day.
Presenting the proposal, BJP National President J. P. Nadda underscored Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering commitment to the establishment of Ram Rajya, an aspirational concept symbolizing an ideal society rooted in the principles of Lord Ram’s governance.
Nadda emphasized Modi’s concerted efforts towards nurturing spiritual and cultural consciousness within the nation, highlighting the Prime Minister’s initiatives aimed at uplifting these fundamental aspects of Indian society.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s historic verdict in 2019, the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, swiftly established the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust, a crucial step that facilitated the expeditious completion of the temple construction.
Nadda also shed light on the profound penance undertaken by the Prime Minister preceding the ‘pran pratishta’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple, underscoring Modi’s personal dedication and reverence towards the fulfillment of this cherished endeavor.
The resolution passed at the BJP national convention serves as a fitting tribute to the monumental achievement of the Ram temple construction, while also acknowledging Prime Minister Modi’s pivotal role in preserving and promoting India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
