Mumbai, February 21: The much-anticipated trailer of ‘Political War’, directed by Mukesh Modi and starring Seema Biswas, has taken the internet by storm, amassing a staggering 15 lakh views within just 24 hours of its release.

The gripping trailer has captivated audiences with its promising storyline, sparking widespread anticipation among viewers across demographics.

Earlier, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India had declined to grant certification to the film, citing unspecified reasons. In response, director Mukesh Modi expressed optimism, stating, “I am confident that upon reevaluation and necessary edits, the film will receive approval from the censor board, enabling audiences nationwide to experience it in theaters.” Consequently, the film is set to release overseas on February 23.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response, Modi extended his thanks to fans for their enthusiasm towards the teaser, songs, and now the trailer of ‘Political War’.

The film’s soundtrack, comprising three released songs, has garnered significant acclaim. The first track, ‘Ram Bhajan Jai Shri Ram’, pays homage to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, while the second, ‘Roshni’, sheds light on the lengths politicians may go to secure electoral victory. Additionally, a motivational song and an item number titled ‘Ekta Banaye Rakhein’ have also been well-received by audiences.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Seema Biswas, Rituparna Sengupta, Milind Gunaji, and Prashant Narayanan, among others, ‘Political War’ promises a compelling narrative. Directed by Viivek Srivastava and Mukesh Modi, the film has been shot across various locations including Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai, and America.

Mukesh Modi doubles as the producer, with Manish Sinha serving as the editor and Chandan Singh and Ketak Dheeman as the directors of photography. The screenplay and dialogue have been penned by Manoj Pandey, with the film being produced under the banner of Indie Films Inc.

As anticipation mounts for the film’s overseas release, ‘Political War’ continues to generate buzz for its engaging storyline and stellar ensemble cast.
